Sorry, to hear that you lost your HP to a thief...

If your HP is GSM-based and is stolen, the owner can call his or her network provider and instruct them to "ban" the phone using its IMEI number. This renders the phone useless, regardless of whether the phone's SIM is changed.

Also, by enabling the SIM Card lock, the HP will refuse other SIM Card. But don't lose your PIN.

but u hav no idea how things work in russia..haha..i think since its impossible to get it back anymore..i will rather let somebody make full use of it than to throw it away.hahaa...
